Tim and Kim Rack, owners/operators of Rack Seven started a trucking company hauling asphalt and gravel in 1989. Since they both come from strong family owned construction businesses, they decided to start their own paving construction company in 1991.Tim Rack began working as a laborer in the paving industry in 1983. He was ambitious and concentrated on learning the paving industry at it's best. For over the next seven years, Tim learned the paving business like no other. It was more than just a job to him. He took pride in every project he worked on from start to finish. His experience in the field helped him develop the skills he needed to start his own business. In 1988, Tim married longtime friend, Kim. She began helping Tim on jobs learning as much of the construction end as possible. She always had a strong sense of business. She knew that they could venture out and do this full-time.In 1991, Tim and Kim went with the idea and started the Rack Seven Paving Co. In 1996 they incorporated once they knew they made the right decision. Kim is President and Tim is the Vice President. The combination of Tim and Kim's experience and drive to grow has placed the Rack Seven Paving Co. above the rest. Every effort is being made to assure to our customer's that Rack Seven is a company dedicated to reliability, experience and service.Today, Rack Seven Paving Co. employs over 20 employees with the average length of employment being 10 years.
